Mission Overview
The Electron launch vehicle, provided by Rocket Lab, is set to launch the StriX Launch 26 mission from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1, Mahia Peninsula, New Zealand, on December 31, 2029, at 12:00 AM UTC. Rocket Lab will deliver the payload into Sun-Synchronous Orbit, a target orbit for this mission. The Electron, launched by Rocket Lab, will carry the StriX Launch 26 payload to this orbit. The mission is scheduled to take place from Rocket Lab's launch site in New Zealand.
Aboard the rocket, the payload is a synthetic aperture radar satellite for Synspective, a Japanese Earth imaging company, and is intended for Earth science applications. The StriX Launch 26 mission, with the Electron launch vehicle provided by Rocket Lab, will place this satellite into Sun-Synchronous Orbit. This orbit is targeted for the StriX Launch 26 mission, and the Electron, provided by Rocket Lab, will deliver the payload to this orbit, where it will operate as part of the mission objectives for Synspective.
