Mission Overview
H3-22 launched ALOS-3 (Maiden flight) from Tanegashima Space Center, Japan on March 7, 2023 at 01:37 AM UTC, but the mission ended in failure. The launch was conducted by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, marking the maiden flight of the H3-22 rocket and the first orbital launch of the H3 series.
