SSMS POC

Vega is set to launch SSMS POC from the Guiana Space Centre, French Guiana, on September 3, 2020, at 01:51 AM UTC, utilizing Arianespace as the launch provider. The mission will place the payload into a Sun-Synchronous Orbit.

The SSMS POC payload is a dedicated rideshare featuring a collection of small satellites, including Athena, ESAIL, and several other spacecraft, designed to test the capabilities of the modular carbon fiber dispenser.
